My wife of 16 years and I own Henninger Electric together and we have three kids. Wesley (14), Alyson (12), and Savanna (8). We also have a boxer named Rocky. In my spare time I like boating with the family on the river. We also hunt deer and raccoon with family each fall/winter. We have very active kids and I love to watch their various activities. I’ve been known to love a good fine whiskey and cigar to relax.
I started my career as an electrician after trying automotive and cabinets in high school. I wanted something a little cleaner and something more challenging. It’s been a great career choice and I love helping people solve their issues and create projects of their dreams for the past 19 years. I love the company we’ve created. The culture is fun, rewarding and challenging. We’ve created a reputation that shows our customers we are the best of the best with our quality and customer service. Our employees have made it easy for us to adapt and grow which is great to look back on throughout the years.
I am from Denver, Iowa and recently married my wife Rachel. She’s an absolute smokeshow. In my free time I enjoy running, golf and a good trip to Chic-Fil-A. I’ve even run a marathon before! Coca-Cola is my go to drink of choice. I became an electrician because I like working with my hands. My favorite part is being able to work somewhere new everyday. I really love working with my co-workers here at Henninger Electric. They are fun to work with.
I have been married to my wife Brittany for 11 years. We have an 11 year old son and 5 year old daughter. We enjoy watching baseball with our family. I also enjoy golfing and helping with my kids’ sports practices. I became an electrician because everyday there is something new. I love the challenge of figuring out a problem or new ways to get a project done. Henninger Electric has a great atmosphere within the workplace. Everyone seems to have the same mindset of providing the best service we possibly can for our customers and having fun at the same time.
I am originally from Waterloo and still live here. My mom and dad also live here locally. I became an electrician because I enjoy working with my hands and being able to help customers with their projects. It’s rewarding to see a project come together at the end. In my spare time, I like to cook, fish and spend time at our cabin. I also like late night conversation, a good movie and the quotes that go along with them. I like working at Henninger Electric because of the small company feel and the co-workers. I enjoy being able to have fun and kid with each other but also be able to get the work done quickly and efficiently with great quality.
I grew up in La Porte City, Iowa and have moved back there with my family. My husband is the other owner, Wayne and we’ve been married for a little over 16 years. We have three very busy children, Wesley, Alyson and Savanna. In addition to working in the office here at Henninger Electric, I substitute teach and work in multiple areas of volunteer work within the community. I graduated from Upper Iowa University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management. I spent 10 years at GMAC Mortgage/Ocwen in various positions prior to leaving to work with the crew at Henninger Electric as it expanded as the first “office assistant.” I am proud to see how far we’ve come and grown over the years and attribute to our amazing employees we’ve found along with our customer base. We’re blessed to say the least.
In my spare time I like to read and work on a craft here and there. I enjoy spending my summers at the river and camping with friends and family. You can usually find me helping with something at a school activity or event during the school year if I’m not watching my own kiddos at their events. I also enjoy cooking and organizing things around the house.
I have a brother along with a step-brother and sister. In my spare time I enjoy golfing and spending time with my family. I am also a volunteer firefighter in Grundy Center. I enjoy helping people with their electrical issues and solving electrical problems.
I am a mother to a 20 year old daughter. I have lived in Iowa for 26 years and now reside in La Porte City. I enjoy reading, cooking, trying new cuisines, spending time with my daughter and other people that are close to me and keeping my latest plant alive. I enjoy interacting with our customers and helping to provide the best possible experience over the course of their projects. And working for a company that genuinely cares about their employees and community makes me love coming to work every day.
My parents are Anthony and Melissa and I have an older sister Lainey. I am a volunteer firefighter in Jesup. I spend time working on farms and snow removal. I enjoy spending spare time with family and friends. I became an electrician after taking an electrical class in high school and really enjoying it. I like my co-workers and am learning from them here at Henninger Electric.
